ONLY TWO CONFERENCE DISCOUNTS LEFT
The Early Bird registration discount for the May conference ends on March 31st. You will be receiving an email from the conference co-chairs about that within the next day or so.
I'm still offering TWO lucky Area 5 members each an additional $25 discount that you can use along with the Early Bird discount. The rules are simple: the first two Area 5 members who email me by midnight on Sunday, March 29, will then receive a code to use at checkout. (The other two discount codes were swooped up almost immediately!)
No questions asked, but I'm hoping the discounts go to members who: (1) have attended fewer than five conferences, (2) have joined Pennwriters within the last five years, and/or (3) members for whom the discount will make the difference between attending or not attending the conference. You can use the discount regardless of how much or how little of the conference you register for.
If this initiative proves popular and effective, I will try to do the same in future years but much earlier in the registration process. The reason I'm doing it now is that I want to use the special funds that the board granted me for membership recruitment and retention efforts before they expire.
