Registration for the 39th Annual Pennwriters Conference is open! We have put together an incredible lineup of workshops, editors, agents, and inspiring keynote speakers to help you on your career path.
We are returning to the lovely Double Tree Resort in Lancaster this year. The pre-conference intensive will be held Thursday, May 14th and the conference will run from Friday May 15th, through Sunday, May 17th. The hotel is offering rooms at a special rate for Pennwriters. Please follow

Our
keynotes are scheduled for Friday evening and Saturday lunch.
This year's
Thursday Intensive will be led by Brent Maguire, with a scientific approach designed to help writers in any point of their careers overcome the barriers to their productivity. If you were at last year's conference, you know Brent will help you get your muse in gear.

Overview
Our conference pricing structure offers three-day, two-day, and single-day prices. The base conference fee includes the following, based on your choice of days:
- Friday Networking Luncheon. Be prepared to discuss current issues with others who write in your genre of choice.
- Friday Keynote Dinner with Chuck Wendig.
- Friday Night Read & Critique (Small fee for non-members) Select this when you register for the conference. Spaces are limited.
- Saturday General Meeting with Breakfast.
- Saturday Keynote Lunch with Maria V. Snyder
- Saturday Night Social (Dress for a journey like a LoTR character). How will you dress for a medieval journey? Or come as you are since we are all on this writing journey. "Not all who wander are lost." J.R.R. Tolkien
- Pitch Appointments with agents/editors (first registered, first assigned) (Small fee for non-members)
- New Feature suggested by members, a writing retreat room. No pre-registration for this. Details will be in your conference folders.
- The Very Successful Tea Exchange Returns. Bring a few bags of your favorite tea to share with other writers. This was amazing last year.
- Book sale and author signing.
- An Amazing Basket Raffle. We're not sure we can beat the quality of last year's baskets, but we hope you're up to the challenge. The raffle supports PW events.
- The "In Other Words" often called "The On The Wall" contest. Bring along your one-page long unpublished work with your name on the back. Participate in one or all of the three categories, Fiction, Non-Fiction, or Poetry. No need to pre-register. Look for the 'Wall' in the hospitality suite.
- Unique 2026 Conference tee-shirt available in men's and women's styles.
