Annual Pennwriters Conference
Join us for our 33rd Annual Pennwriters Conference
The Pennwriters Conference is held annually, in alternating locations of Lancaster and Pittsburgh, and attracts about 180-230 attendees who write across a wide variety of genres. The conference is comprised of workshop sessions, panels, pitch appointments, two keynote events, and a Saturday evening social. Faculty members are agents, editors, authors and other industry professionals. In 2020, NYT bestselling author Jonathan Maberry will be our Friday dinner keynote, and Pennwriters member Jon Sprunk will be our Saturday luncheon keynote.

Writers Project Runway
Writers Project Runway is a one-day Pennwriters Conference in its fifth year. Enjoy a day of ideas, inspiration and networking with people like you who are ready to take their writing to new heights. open to all writers, this conference is also designed to introduce Pennwriters to aspiring and published authors in the northern Virginia, Maryland, west Virginia and Washington, D.C. areas.

A Writer’s Road Trip
Held every October, Writer’s Road Trip is an annual mini-conference held in Pennwriters Area 1 in Erie, PA. Special guest speakers offer a full day of workshops and networking on all aspects of writing.
