Carrie Gessner received a BA in English from Carnegie Mellon University and an MFA in Writing Popular Fiction from Seton Hill University. She writes fantasy and science fiction, and her novels include The Stroke of Thirteen and The Dying of the Golden Day, the first installment in an epic fantasy trilogy. She’s the owner of Sky Forest Press, a micropress that publishes science fiction and fantasy novels with female protagonists.
