Martha Reed is a Pittsburgh-based crime and mystery fiction author who is busily developing her John and Sarah Jarad Nantucket Mystery series.
The first book in the Nantucket series, THE CHOKING GAME, was a 2015 Killer Nashville Silver Falchion nominee for Best Novel in the Traditional Mystery category. Book Two, THE NATURE OF THE GRAVE, won a 2006 Independent Publisher (IPPY) Honorable Mention for Mid-Atlantic Best Regional Fiction. NO REST FOR THE WICKED, Book 3, was a 2017 IPPY nominee for Best Traditional Mystery.
Martha’s work has appeared in Pearl 26, Spinetingler Magazine, Mysterical-e, and Mystery Readers Journal. Her short story STRANGLER FIG appeared in LUCKY CHARMS: 12 Crime Tales, an anthology produced by the Pittsburgh chapter of Sisters in Crime, Inc. (SinC).
