Michele Lombardo is a recent graduate of the UCR Palm Desert MFA in Creative Writing and Writing for the Performing Arts program.
Before earning her Master’s, Michele spent 12 years working in marketing, communications and sales operations for several services companies. During her tenure in corporate America, she conceived and wrote several award-winning corporate magazines, newsletters, brochures, case studies and websites, as well as handling executive speech writing, public relations, branding, and sales-driven activities such as campaign development and business development resources.
Michele received her undergraduate degree from The Pennsylvania State University, where she majored in English Literature with minors in both Chinese and American Studies. During her tenure at Penn State, she also wrote for The Penn Stater magazine and The Journal of Crime, Law and Social Change. Her essays have also been published in Eastern Penn Points, and her short stories have appeared or are forthcoming in Permafrost Magazine and Youth Imagination Magazine. She is Co-Founder of Write Now Lancaster.
